Hail damage is easy to miss and easy to deny. Bruised shingles, dented vents and cracked siding don’t look like much from the ground, and insurers call them cosmetic or old.
Our licensed public adjusters inspect in person whenever the claim needs it, document the damage to the roof, siding, gutters, windows and AC units, and build the claim for the repairs the hail really caused. The first review is free.
None of these has to be the final answer. Call us before you accept it.
Hail claims are often denied on a single word. Here’s how we answer them.
Some policies exclude cosmetic hail damage, and insurers stretch the word. A bruise that cracks the shingle mat, or a dent that breaks a seal, is not cosmetic. We document the hits that affect how the roof and siding work, and check what your policy actually says.
Fresh hail hits look different from old ones: exposed mat, sharp edges and bright metal where paint was knocked off. We document them soon after the storm and tie them to it.
Hail rarely hits one spot. When every slope is damaged, or replacement shingles won’t match, a repair can’t put the roof back the way it was. We build the claim for what the roof actually needs.
An older roof can still have hail damage, and the storm caused it. Some policies pay less on an older roof, so we check how yours values it and make sure the damage is paid.

Usually, yes. Hail is a covered cause of loss on most homeowners policies, including damage to the roof, siding, windows, gutters, outdoor AC units and other structures. Some policies carry a separate wind and hail deductible, and some exclude damage they call cosmetic, so the wording of your policy matters.
The fight is over how much damage the hail did. We inspect every surface it could have hit and document each one before repairs or the next storm cover it up.

Siding and gutters
AC units and windows
Start on the ground. Look for dents in gutters, vents, downspouts and AC fins, dings in siding, and shingle granules piling up where the downspouts drain. On the roof, hail leaves dark spots where granules were knocked off and soft bruises in the shingle. Don’t climb up to check.
Hail damage is hard to see and easy to argue about, so get it documented early. Call us for a free review of the damage.

We know how buildings are designed, how they are built, and how to spot the damage most people miss. On complex claims like fires with structural damage or hidden issues, that construction insight and policy knowledge lets us build a stronger claim and challenge a low offer with real authority.

Waiting to see what the insurance company does is how good claims run out of time.
Insurers call hail damage cosmetic to avoid paying for a roof. That word in a letter is their opinion, not the final answer. Call us before you accept it.
Insurance companies often deny claims as wear and tear, old damage or not covered. That letter is their side of the story, not the final word. The right proof can change it, but the window to act is short. Call us before you take no for an answer.
Hail damage left alone gets harder to prove as the roof weathers and the next storm hits. Call us now, while the damage is fresh and the claim is clear.
Don’t wait to see what they do. Call today and let a licensed public adjuster review your options while you still have them. Your policy review is free.

Answers to the questions homeowners ask us most about hail.
Not always. Insurers stretch the word, and a hit that cracks the shingle mat or breaks a seal isn't cosmetic. We read your policy and document the damage that counts. Call us before you accept it.
It depends on your policy and your state. When new materials won't match what's left, a patch can leave the house looking repaired, not restored, and the claim often should cover more. We check your policy and document the mismatch. Call us for a free review.
Often, yes, for the damage the hail did. Age doesn't cancel storm damage, though insurers point to it first. Some policies pay less on an older roof, so we check how yours values it. Call us for a free review.
Often, yes. An outdoor AC unit is usually covered with the house. Hail can crush the coil fins and hurt how well the unit runs. We include it in the claim. Call us for a free review.
Yes, and it's shorter than most people think. Policies require prompt notice, and deadlines vary by policy and state. Hail damage also gets harder to prove with time. Call us as soon as you find it.
You pay nothing upfront, and if we don't recover money, you owe us nothing. Our fee is a percentage of what we recover for you, set in writing before you sign, and never more than your state's law allows. Call, and we'll walk you through how it works on your claim.
Call us before you call them. What you say on that first call can hurt your claim, and most policyholders don't know which words give the insurance company a reason to pay less or deny. We'll help you report it the right way, so call as soon as you find the damage.
You can hire us before you file, in the middle of a claim, or after the insurer pays too little. Many of the nearly 7,000 claims we've handled started just like yours. Don't sit on a low check, though: the deadlines to ask for more keep running. Call us now, while you still have time.
