Arthur Camayd, partner, is a licensed public adjuster with the SPPA designation, a licensed general contractor, and holds a degree in architecture.
We know how buildings are designed, how they are built, and how to spot the damage most people miss. On complex claims like fires with structural damage or hidden issues, that construction insight and policy knowledge lets us build a stronger claim and challenge a low offer with real authority.

We don’t just estimate. We advocate.
Four steps, from the first call to the settlement check.
Tell us about your claim. We’re here to help.
Leaving no stone unturned, we focus on the details.
Don’t worry about having to gather various repair bids on your own.
We don’t get paid unless you get paid.
Waiting to see what the insurance company does is how good claims run out of time.
Many homeowners hurt their claim on that first call to the insurance company. Reporting the claim is part of our job, and we do it the right way. Call us the day you find the damage, and we’ll handle it from there.
Florida makes insurers say on a partial payment that more may come, and the adjuster they send works for them, not you. We’ve handled nearly 7,000 claims and settled over half a billion dollars. Have us check their estimate line by line before you settle for it.
Stop the damage from spreading, but take photos and video before anything is torn out or repaired, and keep what gets replaced. Once the damage is gone, it’s your word against the insurance company’s. Call us first, and we’ll document it the right way.
Don’t wait to see what they do. Call today and let a licensed public adjuster review your options while you still have them. Your policy review is free.

Answers to the questions Jacksonville-area callers ask us most.
You pay nothing upfront, and if we don't recover money, you owe us nothing. Our fee is a percentage of what we recover for you, set in writing before you sign, and Florida law caps it. If your insurer paid you before you hired us, Florida doesn't let a public adjuster take a fee on that money, so our fee comes only from the extra money we get you. Call, and we'll walk you through how it works on your claim.
Often, yes. Denied and partly denied roof claims are some of the most common calls we get from the Jacksonville area. Insurers blame age, wear or poor installation, or send an engineer who finds no storm damage. We document the damage ourselves, read the denial against your policy, and tell you straight whether it can be turned around. Call us before you accept it.
Our office is in Doral, and we handle claims anywhere in Florida, including Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Orange Park and the towns around them. A licensed public adjuster inspects the damage in person at your property whenever the claim needs it, and the first review is free.
We check what their number leaves out. When new shingles or tiles won't match, Florida law requires reasonable repair or replacement in adjoining areas, unless your policy says otherwise. Your policy also includes law and ordinance coverage for code upgrades, unless you rejected it in writing. And under the building code, once a quarter or more of a roof built before 2007 needs work, the whole section may have to meet current code. Call us before you accept their number.
Yes. In Florida the hurricane deductible applies only to damage from a hurricane, from the time a hurricane warning is issued for any part of the state until 72 hours after the last watch or warning ends. It also applies once a calendar year, across all hurricane damage that year. If your damage came from another storm, or you already met the deductible that year, the insurer may owe you more. We'll check it against your policy.
You can hire us before you file, in the middle of a claim, or after the insurer pays too little. Many of the nearly 7,000 claims we've handled started just like yours. Don't sit on a low check, though. Florida's deadlines to reopen a claim or ask for more run from the date of loss, not from the day they paid. Call us now, while you still have time.
Less time than most people think. Florida bars a new or reopened claim that isn't reported within one year of the date of loss, and a supplemental claim after 18 months. For a hurricane, the date of loss is landfall, not the day you notice the damage, and courts expect you to report promptly inside that year. Call us as soon as you find the damage.
No. We're licensed public adjusters, not a law firm, and we don't give legal advice. We document the damage, write the estimate and negotiate with your insurance company. Florida no longer makes insurers pay a winning homeowner's lawyer, so a claim has to be built right before anyone talks about court. If yours needs a lawyer, we work together with experienced property damage attorneys, and they rely on the file we've built. Call us first, so that file is built right from the start.
Call and a licensed adjuster will go over your claim with you. The review is free.
